Help Us Write Dover’s Next Chapter

Renovations are underway at the Dover Public Library. We are working with SMP Architecture on an addition to our historic Carnegie library which includes an expansion of the children’s room, increased meeting space on the third floor, accessible bathrooms, and so much more! The Friends of the Dover Public Library is seeking donations from generous donations from community members and businesses to support the library in completing these renovations.

Make a donation and help us write Dover’s next chapter.

We have created the following named giving opportunities that will honor your donation by naming a space in our newly renovated building after you or your business:

Cornerstone Donor – $100,000+

  • Children’s Room
  • Lecture Hall
  • Adult Collections
  • Trustee’s Room

Visionary Donor – $50,000+

  • Circulation Desk
  • Meeting Rooms

Impact Donor – $10,000+

  • Reading Alcoves
  • Office Spaces

Email our team at fdlnhdevelopment@friendsofthedoverlibrary.org for more details about naming opportunities.

Community Giving Through GoFundMe

For those of you who would like to help on a smaller scale, we’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support our renovation efforts, making giving more accessible for all of our community members. Every donation makes a big difference! If you aren’t able to give at this time but would still like to support this important project, please share our fundraiser with your friends and family. Though the Friends supports the library throughout the year, this is a once in a generation opportunity to make a statement and support the expansion of a core resource in the Dover Community.
